going on safari

vintage flea art class safari 01_resize

Gracyn took part in her first “official” art class today in The Vintage Flea’s summer art camp.  She learned all about drawing African animals such as monkeys, giraffes, and lions.  She had a great time being able to paint and draw…and bringing a lunchbox!  Her main project was this “animal skin rug” painted on canvas.  We will turn it into a wall hanging for her room!

  1. Gracyn, YOU ROCK!!

  2. Christi says:

NICE!!! So glad she gets such a fun experience. I’ve been working with some gals here to get a co-op going and we’re starting with art. My kids are so excited. We start up in August, if I can manage to stay here that long. I’m really missing GA, much more than ever before.

  3. That is MY BABY GIRL! Great Job Gracyn – Ena loves it and it is so beautiful, and will look great in your room. Cannot wait to see the glorious art work.

  4. Tim & Rhianna says:

What a fun experience for your little animal lover! Your flowers are lovely, too, Kim- I know it gladdens your heart to see their cheerful faces. Hope summer is going great at the c’ham home…

  5. Kim,

Gracyn is getting so big…too fast!
