Ahh…it is time for a little bloggin’ therapy. Today, being a Monday, has been one of those busy, fast paced days where for every 10 things I accomplish, 10 more pop up in their places. Finally, I am able to do a little something that is restful albeit with a 3 year old laying at my side. Maybe he will even fall asleep! While today was extremely productive I am grateful for a moment of downtime. What has kept me running full throttle today?
  • making beds and straightening up the bedrooms before breakfast
  • dressing kids and myself
  • making breakfast for four people and cleaning up after 3 of those four people who made little messes
  • emptying the dishwasher
  • changing diapers
  • taking a 3 year old to the potty
  • teachin’ readin’, ‘rightin’ and ‘rithmatic
  • snack time and cleaning up snack mess
  • putting baby down for a nap after another diaper change
  • folding laundry
  • starting new loads of laundry
  • taking a 3 year old to the potty
  • feeding the baby
  • making lunch and cleaning up lunch…with a bunch of crumbs on the floor
  • keeping baby out of the dog bowls a dozen times
  • making baby food to freeze
  • teaching a little lesson on aerodynamics complete with paper airplanes
  • taking a 3 year old to the potty
  • making pesto to freeze before the basil goes bad
  • releasing 6 painted lady butterflies out in to the wild
  • cleaning the butterfly tent of all its… ahem…contents
  • changing diapers
  • folding laundry
  • putting away cloth diapers
  • keeping baby out of dog bowls…again
  • catching 3 year old in the baby’s exersaucer and now he’s stuck
  • feeding the baby
  • snack time…again…more crumbs
  • changing diapers for two kids
  • putting the baby down for a nap…holding breath that he will sleep
  • checking mail
  • starting to think about dinner
  • blog time

And people, it is 4:00 and the 3 year old is asleep! 🙂
