Labor Day has come and gone. Fall truly is around the corner! We’ve had some “cooler” temps but it is expected to be back in the 90s today and high 80s for the rest of the week. I’m so looking forward to fall although I don’t have any clothes to wear for those chilly days yet. Yesterday I celebrated Labor Day by leaving the kids with Jack and going to see The Nanny Diaries with my sister in law, Lisa. I haven’t been to a movie in over a year so it was high time. The movie was a cute chick flick which made it all the more fun! I read the book about 3 years ago and was excited to see the story. Of course the book has way more details, but it is still a fun, relaxing movie. I also attempted to go shopping for some clothes but it was still a bit early in the season to start buying sweaters and things suitable for fall. There were tons of cute fall clothes for kids out but the choices for adults were bleak. We ended the day by feasting on bbq ribs, corn on the cob, potato salad and blueberry pie at the C’s house. Now it is time to start waking the kids for another exciting week of homeschool!

  1. Cool weather? Wow! Send some.

And how do you get around town in gold carts?

We’ve been keeping up our blog, too at

Christine has also been enjoying homeschooling Krista. Has Gracyn got the card from Krista yet?
